"I met Tatz about seven years ago during one of the most painful chapters of my life. I had just returned to my hometown after losing my partner — the father of my children — in heart-breaking circumstances.
Our family was left shattered, grieving, and simply struggling to survive. I have experienced several of Taryn’s (Tatz) workshops, all of which are based on her unique and diverse skillset. Her modality is holistic, combining mind and body work for effective outcomes.
Recently, I did a private process work session with Taryn based on discovering what lies beneath a sensory challenge I face. This one-hour introductory session included discussion and bodywork; I found it to be enlightening and thought-provoking.
Taryn facilitates a weekly Women’s Empowerment Circle, based at our local Women’s Centre. This well-attended group includes a guided group meditation followed by individual sharing around life issues. This evolves organically into a group discussion on any relevant topic or theme which emerges, such as women’s ageing process issues.
I frequently attend Taryn’s weekly meditation group. Taryn intersperses the hour-long meditation session with the playing of musical instruments, such as chimes and drums, as well as her distinctive African-like chanting.
Taryn has a diverse repertoire of personal growth seminars and groups. She has, and continues to, study widely and she is very experienced in delivering a vast array of therapeutic groups, together with one-on-one interventions.
Taryn is relentlessly positive and enthused about her work and she supports a growing cohort of individuals, with a special interest in working with women. Taryn brings empathy and her own authentic lived experience of trauma to her work.
